Job summary

Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition counseling, develop individualized care plans, and educate patients across diverse populations. The role supports the Food and Nutrition department in a Day Shift in the United States, with a 40-hour work week and responsibilities across clinical nutrition and education.

The ideal candidate has an Ohio RD license, clinical experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching and counseling nutrition therapy.

• Able to accurately take and record measurements and readings.

• Successful completion of the R.D. exam within 7 months for Limited Permit status in Ohio.

Responsibilities

Overview of Position

Responsible for nutrition counseling, nutritional care plans, nutritional assessment, and nutrition education programs for a diverse population.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Assess nutritional needs of patients and complete nutritional plans of cares for patients.
