Job summary

Bank of China Turkey is seeking a qualified Risk Management professional in Turkey to assist in risk management functions, policy development, and regulatory reporting. The role requires collaboration across teams and strong data analysis skills.

The candidate will contribute to Basel and ICAAP reporting, BRSA submissions, and sustainability disclosures, while supporting stress testing and ECL model maintenance under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university; master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bank risk management, risk reporting, BRSA Basel reporting and ICAAP reporting.
• Familiar with Interbasel Reporting Tool and Excel for data analysis.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work under pressure.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing and maintaining Risk Management functions.
• Prepare risk management policies and procedures.
• Prepare regulatory Basel reports and ICAAP reports for BRSA.
• Attend local meetings to follow regulatory developments.
• Perform technical research and impact analysis before new regulations.
• Prepare internal MIS reports.
• Assist in quarterly risk management disclosures during financial audits.
• Support stress tests and scenario analysis procedures.
• Coordinate IFRS 9 implementation and maintain the ECL calculation model.
• Contribute to sustainability disclosures per TSRS standards.
• Prepare and present quarterly risk management committees.

Job description

• Assisting with implementing and maintaining Risk Management functions
• Preparation/ Assisting of Risk Management policies and procedures
• Preparing / Assisting regulatory Basel reports and ICAAP report submitted to Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency
• Attending local meetings/ working groups/seminars to follow up local & international regulatory developments
• Do the technical research and impact analysis before any new regulation comes effective, present results to Senior Management
• Preparing/ Assisting internal MIS reports
• Quarterly Risk Management part of financial audit process including preparation / assisting of risk management related disclosures
• Managing / Assisting stress tests and scenario analysis procedures/methodologies
• Coordinate / Assist IFRS 9 implementation and conduct the maintenance of ECL calculation model and methodology
• Do / Assist the relevant coordination and tasks related to the risk management aspect of the sustainability disclosures as per the relevant regulations (ie. TSRS standards)
• Prepare and present quarterly risk management committees

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, Master degree is a plus

• Familiar to Interbasel Reporting Tool (tool for BRSA Basel Reports)
