Job summary

Storyteller is hiring two Site Reliability / Production Engineers to be the first technical responders for live incidents during UK-aligned coverage windows. You will work remotely from Turkey, assess customer impact, investigate system state, and apply proportionate mitigations with product involvement as needed.

You will supervise AI-assisted analysis, validate outcomes with real evidence, and drive reliability improvements by refining alerts, dashboards and runbooks.

Qualifications

• Ability to own ambiguous live problems, gather evidence and follow through after pressure.
• Strong judgment to separate symptoms from root causes under uncertainty.
• Comfort exploring unfamiliar systems via code, logs, APIs and data.
• Use AI for substantive work while supervising and validating results.

Responsibilities

• Respond to live incidents, establish customer impact and state.
• Investigate using logs, metrics, traces, deployment history and code.
• Apply proportionate mitigations, rollbacks or fixes and validate customer recovery.
• Coordinate with product teams for deep fixes or decisions.
• Improve reliability by reducing alert noise and enhancing monitoring and runbooks.
