Jobgether partners with a company based in Turkey seeking a Security Engineer III to own detection and response across cloud environments. You will build and tune SIEM detections, automate workflows with Python and no-code tools, and drive improvements in security coverage and incident response.

You will triage alerts, investigate incidents, contribute runbooks, and help maintain audit-ready controls for SOC 2 and PCI DSS while working in a globally distributed, remote team.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience building and tuning SIEM detections.
• Experience securing AWS environments and cloud-native detection/response capabilities.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and security tooling.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies (Terraform or similar).
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and its application to threat detection.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver end-to-end detection and response initiatives.
• Build, tune, and maintain detections across Elastic SIEM and AWS environments.
• Manage the security investigation queue by triaging alerts and investigating incidents.
• Document incident investigations and findings to support follow-up actions and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and automation workflows using Python and no-code tools.
• Make risk decisions within your area of responsibility and escalate when needed.
• Support compliance with audit-ready security controls (SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Use Terraform and Python to build and improve tooling and detections.
• Participate in on-call rotation for security monitoring and incident response.
• Continuously improve detection coverage and response efficiency.
