Job summary

Insense is a remote-first platform that helps brands work with creators. We are seeking a full-time QA Engineer contractor to ensure quality across the Insense platform, collaborating with Product, Design and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle.

You will perform manual QA, exploratory testing, API testing with Postman, validate requirements, and help identify quality risks early. The role is CET±2h, with daily 9:00–12:00 EST overlap, and compensation in USD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer testing web applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and test design.
• Hands-on experience with exploratory, functional, regression, and API testing.
• Able to review requirements, identify risks, and raise questions before development starts.
• Experience testing APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL or GraphQL for investigation and data validation.
• Experience investigating issues using logs, monitoring, or analytics tools (Sentry, Rollbar, Amplitude, or similar).
• Experience using AI tools to improve testing and investigation workflows while validating the results.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
