Job summary

Canonical is hiring a Product Manager for Hardware Certification. This remote-based role in the EMEA region focuses on leading the product lifecycle, roadmap development, and go-to-market strategies for the Hardware Certification program.

You will work with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to drive market success, engage with partners and customers, and shape future business models in a fast-evolving open source landscape.

Qualifications

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Understanding of Linux and the wider open source software community.
• Understanding of computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, reviewing priorities and goals for the product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
• Address challenges, align on priorities, enable informed decisions, and keep execution on track.
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates and key decisions to ensure alignment.
• Conduct usability testing, analyze feedback, and iterate to improve user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and support to develop go-to-market strategies and provide training.
• Contribute to sales success by reviewing customer feedback and participating in meetings.
