Job summary

Canonical is hiring a Product Manager - Industrial Sector Lead for a remote role in the EMEA region. You will lead the industrial product lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive go-to-market strategies for IoT, edge computing, and Industry 4.0 solutions.

You will engage with open source communities, shape product strategy, and travel up to four times per year for events and workshops with teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Strong academic results at high school and university.
• Proven product management experience in technical domains related to open source.
• Solid knowledge of Industry 4.0, IoT, and edge computing technologies.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Commercial acumen for pricing and product strategy.
• Understanding of industrial open source software such as IoT frameworks and edge platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and OpenStack; Linux and OSS community awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of product development for the industrial portfolio.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and sales to align priorities.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities.
• Communicate product vision and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Perform usability testing and iterate to improve user experience.
• Support GTM activities and provide training materials for the sales team.
