Job summary

Ruby Labs seeks a systems-driven Creative Performance Design Lead to own and scale the team's delivery standards for motion and static ad creative across our core D2C subscription product.

You will shape the production stack, integrate AI-assisted workflows, and drive faster, higher quality work while mentoring a growing design team and partnering with user acquisition to translate data into creative direction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in design across motion and static formats.
• 2+ years leading a design or creative team in fast-growing environments.
• Experience training or leading others on AI-assisted creative workflows.
• Hands-on daily fluency in motion and static design tools.
• Track record in performance creative with measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce quality standards for motion and static creative.
• Own the team's delivery speed from brief to launch.
• Scale creative output without increasing headcount.
• Own the production stack and keep it ahead of market standards.
• Evaluate and train the team on AI-assisted workflows.
• Build reusable systems and templates to reduce manual work.
• Translate performance data into concrete creative direction.
• Partner with the user acquisition team to convert data into direction.
• Own localization QA across markets, formats, and networks.
