Job summary

World Business Lenders is seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and management reporting for a remote, contract/consultant role.

The position requires strong Excel skills, experience with large datasets, and the ability to produce transparent analyses. Standard hours align with Eastern Time; additional hours may be required to meet deadlines, while working from a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting or related experience.
• Strong understanding of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Advanced Excel skills include formulas, Pivot tables, lookups and scenario analysis.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, validate, and maintain FP&A data used in models and reports.
• Build, update, and maintain financial models, forecasts, analyses, and reports.
• Reconcile model outputs and management reports to source data and investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze actual results and drivers, identify variances, and explain findings clearly.
• Prepare scenario, sensitivity, break-even, and other decision-support analyses.
• Maintain model assumptions, supporting schedules, version logs, and documentation.
• Support recurring management reporting and automate reporting where practical.
