Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Türkiye seeks a mid-level EHS professional to support building projects and service operations. You will ensure compliance with Turkish EHS laws, ISO standards, and Siemens requirements while coordinating with project teams and contractors.

The role emphasizes risk assessments, incident investigations, training development, and continuous improvement to sustain a Zero Harm culture across sites. English proficiency and willingness to travel within Türkiye are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified A-Class Occupational Safety Specialist required.
• Minimum 6 years of professional EHS experience in project, construction or service environments.
• Solid knowledge of Turkish EHS legislation and international standards (ISO 45001/14001).
• Experience in contractor management, incident investigation, auditing, and risk assessment.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Siemens Buildings project and service operations by ensuring compliance with EHS legislation, Siemens requirements, customer specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Identify EHS-related statutory requirements, regulations, environmental aspects, hazards, and risks for project activities.
• Perform EHS risk assessments and define, implement, and monitor mitigation measures.
• Provide EHS expertise during tender and bid phases and support contracting activities from an EHS perspective.
• Develop, implement, and update Project EHS Plans and Emergency Management Concepts.
• Ensure EHS plans and expectations are communicated and implemented by project teams, service personnel, and contractors.
• Support project/service managers in obtaining and maintaining EHS-related permits and approvals.
• Develop and implement EHS training, awareness, and competency programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and contractor assessments across sites.
• Review EHS performance indicators and report to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure incidents and near misses are reported, investigated, and followed up with corrective actions.
• Escalate critical EHS issues per Siemens governance requirements.
• Promote best practices and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities at project and service locations.
• Contribute to Siemens' Zero Harm culture and sustainability commitments.
