Job summary

Manay CPA is seeking a seasoned accounting and tax professional to expand U.S. GAAP, tax codes, and business operations expertise while serving a diverse client base across industries.

This is a fully remote role based in Turkey with a USD base salary and opportunities to work with clients in the US. You will lead onboarding, manage day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, tax returns, audits, and financial reporting, mentoring junior staff and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 4–5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, and/or tax.
• Prior outsourced/multi-client accounting experience.
• Turkish CPA (SMMM) license strongly preferred.
• US GAAP experience is a big plus; comprehensive training will be provided.
• Prior experience reviewing or mentoring junior accounting staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for new clients and design accounting system setup.
• Own day-to-day bookkeeping including accounts payable/receivable, monthly closings, and financial reporting; mentor junior staff.
• Use company software to complete accounting, reporting, and tax tasks with accuracy.
• Prepare and review payroll, sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and related documents.
• Lead audit preparation and manage reconciliation end-to-end for accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze financial data to forecast revenue, evaluate profit margins, surface insights for clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and file US corporate and individual income tax returns (including 1099s).
• Research complex tax and accounting issues and provide practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve clients' accounting, tax, and financial processes.
• Participate in company-wide improvement initiatives.
• Lead special projects and mentor team members.
