Job summary

Philips RTR Accounting Controller META is responsible for the integrity of financial records across all operating units and entities in the region, spanning local statutory books to group consolidation.

You will act as the regional contact for Record-to-Report, coordinating with Accounting Operations, Global Hub, shared service centers, and outsourcers while driving standardisation and efficiency in close cycles.

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA/ACCA, CA(SA), SMMM or equivalent).
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience across multiple entities.
Deep IFRS knowledge with sound judgement on complex treatments.
Experience in emerging/high-volatility markets with currency issues.
Strong internal controls background and audit experience.
Experience coordinating remote/distributed teams and shared service centers.
SAP proficiency and advanced Excel.
Fluent English; knowledge of Arabic or Turkish is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Own monthly, quarterly and annual close for the META region and ensure IFRS compliance.
Manage statutory-to-IFRS bridge, local GAAP, audits, and reporting regimes.
Drive internal controls, risk remediation, and audit coordination across Finance.
Coordinate with global hubs, SSCs, and outsourced providers to resolve issues and improve processes.
