Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior regional controller to own the close, consolidate group reporting, and drive IFRS adherence across META region. You will lead a distributed accounting team, coordinate with shared services, and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.

The role requires 10+ years in multinational accounting, strong SAP and Excel skills, and fluency in English. Familiarity with local regimes and Big 4 background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Recognized professional accounting qualification — CPA, ACA/ACCA, CA(SA), SMMM or equivalent.
• Bachelor's / master's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience in a multinational environment across multiple legal entities.
• Deep, applied IFRS knowledge and judgement on complex treatments.
• Experience with emerging/high-volatility markets, currency devaluation, and local statutory regimes.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
• Review financial statements for IFRS compliance and policy alignment.
• Coordinate with Accounting Operations, Global Hub, SSCs and outsourced providers.
• Advise on accounting consequences of transactions and entity changes.
• Manage internal controls framework and coordinate internal/ external audits.
• Drive standardisation and continuous improvement of accounting processes.
