Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a HUB Machinery Safety Specialist for the Dilovası, Türkiye factory. You will act as technical lead for machine risk assessment, functional safety for machinery, and safeguarding according to regional and internal standards.

You will collaborate with regional operations, provide safety guidance for capital projects, and drive continuous improvement in machinery safety across the APMEA region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in machine safety process management, risk assessment and design.
• CMSE - Certified Machinery Safety Expert certification required or desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead machinery safety risk assessment initiatives and implement safety standards.
• Provide technical safety guidance for capital projects related to machinery and equipment.
• Develop and deliver machine safety training to build local competency.
• Support the deployment of internal safety standards across regional sites.
• Travel regionally to support local sites and ensure compliance with regulations.
