Job summary

Career Land Center, LLC in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Reception Manager to lead the front-of-house team in a busy Food & Beverage operation. You will oversee hosts, hostesses, reservations, and table flow to ensure a warm, professional guest experience from arrival to departure.

The role requires a polished hospitality professional with strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven ability to manage guest flow, VIPs, and service coordination.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Reception Manager or similar front-of-house leadership role.
• Experience in restaurants, cafés, hospitality groups, or F&B operations.
• Experience managing hosts, hostesses, or reception teams is required.
• Strong knowledge of reservations, table management, guest flow, and waiting-list handling.
• Excellent customer-service, communication, and guest-relations skills.
• Strong leadership, team-management, and training skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with reservation systems is an advantage.
• International hospitality experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to Kuwait.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage guest arrivals, seating, waiting lists, and departures efficiently.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service from the moment they enter the restaurant.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of hospitality, guest satisfaction, and restaurant image.
• Manage daily reservations, bookings, walk-ins, VIP guests, and special requests.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and monitor table availability.
• Coordinate table allocation according to reservations, guest preferences, and restaurant capacity.
• Manage waiting lists during busy periods and communicate estimated waiting times clearly.
• Monitor table turnover and coordinate with the service team to optimize seating.
• Supervise, guide, and support receptionists, hosts, and hostesses.
• Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate reception coverage at all times.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate important reservations, VIP guests, events, and special requirements.
• Train team members on guest service, restaurant standards, telephone etiquette, and reservation procedures.
• Monitor staff grooming, appearance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, service team, kitchen, and management team to ensure smooth operations.
