Job summary

Saint-Gobain Weber Türkiye is seeking an R&D Responsible to drive innovation through the development of new products, formulations, and technologies. The role will lead R&D projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable growth with market-oriented research.

The incumbent will participate in creating new materials, formulations, and technologies, developing test methods, and preparing technical reports for ongoing projects while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and improvement of new and existing products.
• Lead R&D projects and ensure regulatory compliance.

As part of our growing organization, we are currently looking for a R&D Responsible to join our team.

Role Purpose

The main objective of this role is to drive innovation through the development of new products, formulations, and technologies, while leading R&D projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting sustainable business growth through continuous improvement and market-oriented research.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and improvement of existing and new products.
• Carry out projects related to new raw materials, formulations, and technologies.
• Develop and validate laboratory test methods.
• Contribute to laboratory activities and processes within ongoing R&D projects.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for R&D projects conducted within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the construction chemicals and cement industry.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• No restrictions on domestic and international travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP.
• Certified Chemical Assessment Specialist or equivalent chemical regulatory expertise.
