OneSec seeks a hands-on R&D Mechanical Engineer to design a variable-angle wind tunnel for VTOL test flights. You will select motors, bearings, actuators, and a pivoting mechanism, and integrate sensors and test rigs. CAD models and rapid prototyping will be central as you build from components to a working system.
You will work closely with flight-control and embedded-software teams to validate the wind tunnel in our drone verification pipeline and iterate based on data.

We're looking for a hands-on R&D Mechanical Engineer to design and build a variable-angle wind tunnel for testing our VTOL delivery drones.
The wind tunnel will generate controlled wind speeds and directions while the aircraft remains mounted on a force-measurement test stand. The complete system will include motors, propellers, structural frames, airflow components, force sensors, actuators, and a large pivoting mechanism that allows the wind angle to be adjusted automatically.
This is a highly practical role involving CAD design, prototyping, fabrication, assembly, instrumentation, testing, and continuous improvement.
