Job summary

Baymak seeks an R&D Engineer to drive design-to-mass production activities and develop new products while refining existing ones. You will engage in analysis, testing, simulation, and optimization, collaborating across departments to meet project goals.

The role requires an engineering degree, 2+ years in R&D within relevant sectors, strong English and CAD skills, and willingness to reside around Istanbul/Gebze. Baymak offers a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Preferably 2+ years of R&D experience in heating & cooling, automotive, or white goods sectors.
• Very good command of English.
• Good CAD knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, researcher, follower and result-oriented.
• Completed military service for male candidates.
• Residing / able to reside in Istanbul Anatolian Side, Gebze and vicinity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all R&D activities from design to mass production.
• Work on designing new products, improving existing products, and creating product files per project management criteria.
• Participate in design, analysis, testing, simulation and optimization studies.
• Contribute to process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency studies.
• Coordinate effectively with marketing, production, QA, planning, purchasing, logistics; liaise with universities, test centers and suppliers.

• Graduated from Engineering departments of universities (preferably Mechanical Engineering),
• Preferably 2 years or more of experience in R&D in one of the heating & cooling, automotive or white goods sectors,

Job Description

• Carrying out all R&D activities from design to mass production,
• Carrying out activities within the scope of designing new products, improving existing products and creating product files in accordance with project management criteria,
• Playing an active role in design, analysis, testing, simulation and optimization studies,
• Taking part in process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency studies,
• Taking part in effective work in coordination with other departments (marketing, production, quality assurance, planning, purchasing, logistics),
• To carry out relations with scientific and technical institutions (universities, research centers, test centers, government agencies, etc.) and service and product suppliers in relation to the issues within the scope of the task.
