Job summary

Festo is seeking a Quality Engineer at its Manisa facility to define and support quality standards for manufactured products. You will monitor KPIs, evaluate processes against standards, and drive corrective actions with structured problem-solving methods.

The role requires collaboration across functions, supplier communication, and participation in internal audits, with English proficiency at B2 level and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
• Knowledge of MES or CAQ systems is an advantage.
• English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Define and support the implementation of quality standards, processes, and guidelines for manufactured products and components.
• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs within the value stream.
• Evaluate processes against internal and regulatory quality standards.
• Identify defects and initiate reporting; support troubleshooting activities.
• Contribute to corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, A3, Ishikawa).
• Support continuous improvement of quality standards, processes, and concepts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on quality targets.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Support internal audits and quality system compliance activities.
• Provide guidance and occasional training on quality topics to operational teams.

Job Description

• Define and support the implementation of quality standards, processes, and guidelines for manufactured products and components
• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs within the operational unit or assigned value stream
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and outputs against internal and regulatory quality standards
• Identify process deviations and product defects, initiate reporting, and support troubleshooting activities
• Contribute to corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, A3, Ishikawa)
• Support continuous improvement of quality standards, processes, and concepts within the operational unit
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality expectations and performance targets
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure compliance with company quality requirements
• Support internal audits and quality system compliance activities
• Provide guidance and occasional training to operational teams on quality-related topics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Basic knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (Control Plan, Inspection Plan, PDCA, SPC; FMEA is a plus)
• Understanding of problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Why, A3, Ishikawa)
• Basic knowledge of process management and manufacturing operations
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; knowledge of MES or CAQ systems is an advantage
• Minimum B2 level of English
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under supervision and handle moderately complex tasks
