Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in Turkey seeks a Quality Specialist to manage complaints, perform failure analyses, and drive corrective actions across the product life cycle. You will coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure conformance of parts and assemblies.

The role requires an engineering degree and 2–3 years in automotive quality, with fluency in Turkish and English. You will operate within Yazaki's Quality Management framework, supporting audits and product validations on site.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from university.
• 2–3 years of experience in automotive quality.
• Good understanding of automotive quality tools.
• Good knowledge of IATF 16949 and OEM quality standards.
• Proficient with computer skills; MS Office.
• Dynamic, team player with good interpersonal skills.
• No military service obligation for male candidates.
• Fluent Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complaint management including documentation of failures and reporting in GQRS with deadline monitoring and customer communication.
• Plan and execute failure analysis of defect parts and prototypes and report findings.
• Return defect parts to supplier to evaluate and eliminate nonconformities.
• Facilitate speedy problem solving of customer returns.
• Coordinate rework and repair at customer assembly lines and rework areas, including material coordination.
• Eliminate suspect parts at customer plant and Yazaki Systems warehouse.
• Record rework and sorting costs.
• Conduct product audits and report to suppliers, tracking corrective actions.
• Validate prototypes and samples.
• Assist in supplier audits as needed.
• Provide overall onsite QM support during product life cycle (deviations, corrective actions, etc.).
• Support and implement Yazaki Systems procedures and work instructions.
• Interface with customer on operational quality topics.
• Support customer during new product introduction in assembly process, recording deviations.

What will you bring with you?

• Responsible for complaint management process incl. documentation of failures and reporting in GQRS as well as deadline monitoring and exchange of information with the customer
• Responsible for planning and execution of failure analysis of defect parts and prototypes as well as reporting
• Responsible for return of defect parts to supplier to evaluate and eliminate the causes of nonconformities
• Facilitate speedy problem solving of customer returns
• Responsible for rework and repair at customers assembly line and rework area, incl. coordination of material
• Elimination of suspect parts at customer plant and Yazaki Systems warehouse
• Recording rework and sorting costs
• Execution of product audits and reporting to suppliers, incl. tracking of corrective actions
• Responsible for validation of prototype and samples
• Assists in supplier audits (on request)
• Overall onsite QM support activities for customer during product life circle (e.g. documentation of deviations, implementation of corrective actions to eliminate the detected nonconformities, etc.)
• Support and implement procedures and work instructions by Yazaki Systems
• Interface between Yazaki and customer regarding to operational quality subjects
• Support of customer during the implementation of new products in assembly process incl. recording and responding in case of deviations

What will your job be about?
