Job summary

BekaertDeslee Holding in Turkey seeks a Quality Assurance & Control Specialist to drive QA/QC across raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods on the production floor. You will lead root cause analyses, coordinate with Sales, Production and Lab, and ensure customer quality expectations shape processes.

The role requires a textile engineering degree, 3+ years of QA/QC experience in textiles, and strong problem-solving skills with methods like 5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D and CAPA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years QA/QC experience in textile manufacturing.
• Knowledge of fabric quality control processes and testing methods.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methods (5 Why, Ishikawa, 8D, CAPA).
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office; good English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the execution of quality control activities for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods; analyze, report, and take necessary actions based on the results.
• Manage final product inspections; take corrective actions for identified defects and non-conformities and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Ensure that customer quality expectations are accurately reflected in production processes.
• Analyze customer complaints; support root cause investigations and resolution processes, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with Sales, Production, Laboratory, and other related departments.
• Evaluate laboratory test results, maintain accurate records, and utilize findings in quality-related decision-making processes.
• Regularly monitor, analyze, and report quality performance indicators (KPIs).
• Support the preparation and execution of internal audits, customer audits, and other quality audits.
• Ensure the effective implementation of procedures, instructions, and practices defined within the Quality Management System throughout the production area.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality processes.
• Coordinate the daily activities of the quality team and ensure that employees effectively fulfill their duties and responsibilities.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within the textile manufacturing industry, preferably.
• Knowledge of fabric quality control processes, testing methods, and customer quality requirements.
• Experience in identifying quality issues within production processes, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing problem-solving techniques.
• Familiarity with problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies such as 5 Why, Ishikawa Diagram, 8D, and CAPA.
• Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting quality KPIs.
• Familiarity with internal and customer audit processes.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to work actively on the production floor with a process-oriented and results-driven approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Military service completed for male candidates.
