Job summary

BekaertDeslee group in Çorlu, Turkey, is seeking a Chemical/Textile Production Planner with strong purchasing, planning, and quality-control experience to coordinate chemical procurement and production activities.

The role focuses on ensuring inventory accuracy, cost control, and continuous improvement, while maintaining safety standards and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Textile Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Textile Finishing is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing processes inline with chemical demand planning and ensure laboratory analysis and conformity checks of supplied chemicals are carried out.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and cost control by comparing chemical consumption data from periodic stock counts with recipe consumption records.
• Conduct quality control and conformity assessment processes for purchased products and products under evaluation during the procurement process.
• Prepare daily production plans inline with production targets and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Monitor daily production performance and efficiency indicators, ensuring that necessary corrective and preventive actions are taken in a timely manner.
• Establish, develop, standardize, and monitor the sustainability of departmental processes.
• Follow up maintenance, cleaning, and operational activities of machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with established plans.
• Contribute to annual budgeting activities, prepare future budget plans, and perform departmental cost analyses.
• Actively participate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities.
• Take an active role in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness.

Profile

Bachelor'sdegreeinChemicalEngineeringorTextileEngineering.

Preferablyatleast5yearsofexperienceinTextileFinishing

Strongteamplayerwiththeabilitytoworkcollaboratively.

Abletoactivelymonitorandfollowuponproductionprocesses.

Proficientin Microsoft Officeapplications; SAPknowledgeispreferred.
