Job summary

AKSA Akrilik Kimya Sanayii A.Ş. in Yalova is seeking a Project Specialist to join the Project Management Office for the Genesis SAP S/4HANA RISE transformation. You will coordinate between business units and technical teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.

The role requires end-to-end project management experience, strong communication, and SAP project management knowledge. You will manage Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment phases and support UAT and training to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in end-to-end full-cycle project management.
• Experience in planning, budget management, risk analysis, and resource management.
• Strong communication skills bridging technical teams and business units.
• Experience in an SAP implementation project; proficient in SAP terminology and basic module integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP Project Management methodologies and SAP Activate.
• Holding a PMP or SAP Certified Project Manager certificate is preferred.
• Experience in S/4HANA transition projects.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Follow the project plan, perform critical path analyses, and ensure progress on schedule.
• Collaborate with key users and process owners to validate needs analyses.
• Manage Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment phases.
• Evaluate and monitor solution fit with business processes in coordination with consultants.
• Identify project risks early, report to senior management, and develop mitigations.
• Organize User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training processes.

Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 330.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for a Project Specialist to join our Project Management office in our Genesis (SAP S/4HANA RISE Transformation) project. The ideal candidate will coordinate between business units and technical teams, and possess strong project process and methodological discipline.

Qualities We Are Looking For;

• Graduates of Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, or related departments from universities,
• At least one experience in end-to-end full-cycle project management,
• Experienced in planning, budget management, risk analysis, and resource management,
• Strong communication skills capable of synthesizing the language of technical teams (consultants/software developers) with the expectations of business units,
• Experience in an SAP implementation project; proficient in SAP terminology and basic module integrations (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.),
• Knowledge of SAP Project Management methodologies, SAP Activate knowledge,
• Holding a PMP or SAP Certified Project Manager certificate,
• Experience in S/4HANA transition projects,
• Fluent in English.

Your main tasks are;

• Following the project plan, conducting critical path analyses, and ensuring the project progresses on schedule,
• Working closely with key users and process owners in our team to confirm that needs analyses are accurate,
• Managing the Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment phases,
• Inquiring about and monitoring the suitability of the solutions offered by the consulting team to the company's business processes with the relevant teams,
• Identifying project risks in advance, reporting them to senior management, and developing solutions,
• Organizing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training processes.
