Job summary

Airey Miller, part of the Celnor Group, seeks a Project Manager/Employer's Agent to lead delivery on residential, mixed-use and regeneration schemes across London. You will act as the primary client contact, manage consultants, coordinate pre-construction activities and drive projects from inception to completion.

Reporting to the Delivery Director, you will oversee programme and risk management, chair meetings, and ensure contractual compliance with JCT contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' post-graduate experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Experience delivering residential, mixed-use, regeneration, land-led or remediation projects.
• Strong understanding of Project Management and Employer's Agent responsibilities.
• Knowledge of JCT contracts and pre-construction service agreements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion as Project Manager and Employer's Agent.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate consultants and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage pre-contract investigations, surveys, and due diligence activities.
• Chair and minute project and pre-contract meetings.
• Prepare Employer's Requirements, performance specifications, build agreements and JCT contracts.
• Manage tender processes including single and two-stage procurement exercises.
• Produce tender reports, value for money reports and project documentation.
• Maintain project programmes, risk registers, and action trackers; undertake site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Chair and minute site meetings.
• Assess contractor payment applications and issue payment notices.
• Monitor defects, manage handovers and oversee practical completion processes.
• Prepare final accounts and project close-out documentation.
