Job summary

Şirket Bilgileri Gizli in İzmit, Turkey, seeks a senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end modernization and efficiency programs on production lines. The role focuses on process optimization, safety, and quality improvements across manufacturing operations.

You will oversee investments in new machinery, manage suppliers, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects on scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining standardization and continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• 10+ years of experience as a project manager or in a similar role in production/PM.
• Proficiency in process development frameworks and lean methodologies/tools like 5S, Kanban, and Six Sigma.
• Experience in machinery investments, engineering projects, or industrial project management.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery commissioning, and automation systems.
• Experience in project management methodologies, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ability to manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate technical proposals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in English and preferably good German.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution with a focus on modernization of lines, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Identify improvement needs for machinery and equipment on production lines and manage related investments.
• Conduct research, design, and feasibility studies for development of new and existing machinery.
• Prepare technical specs for investment projects and manage supplier communication and quotations.
• Evaluate supplier proposals from technical and commercial perspectives and present recommendations.
• Lead installation and commissioning processes for machinery modifications.
• Monitor performance of ordered machinery, analyze issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure availability of technical documentation and required training to support production.
• Research emerging technologies to improve production efficiency and assess applicability.
• Track corrective and preventive actions related to production and engineering processes.
• Lead projects end-to-end from requirements through deployment, scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Define project scope, quality, and performance standards and manage lifecycle risks.
• Coordinate internal teams and external resources to achieve project objectives.

• Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions related to production and engineering processes.
• Lead projects end-to-end from requirements definition through deployment, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Define project scope, quality, and performance standards and manage project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal teams and external resources, including suppliers and third-party partners, to achieve project objectives.
