To support the execution of projects in alignment with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource objectives during the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) development process; to ensure projects progress toward their goals by playing an active role in project planning, progress tracking, risk management, reporting, and technical and administrative coordination processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute, monitor, and report on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resource management processes in alignment with project management methodologies during the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) development lifecycle.
- Breakdown project scope into sub-work packages and task levels via a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); establish and monitor milestones, dependencies, responsibilities, and timelines for work packages.
- Monitor the progress of project activities against the planned schedule, budget, and targets; evaluate actual activities and analyze variances.
- Prepare regular progress reports, performance evaluations, and management presentations regarding the status of projects and work packages.
- Identify risks, delays, resource requirements, and decision-requiring issues that may impact project objectives; formulate and track action plans and alternative strategies to mitigate risk impacts.
- Coordinate development and design change processes with relevant engineering units; evaluate and track the impacts of changes on project scope, schedule, cost, and other work packages.
- Analyze technical dependencies among different engineering disciplines and reflect them in project plans, schedules, and work packages.
- Ensure that activities conducted by design, analysis, production, quality, procurement, and other relevant units progress in a coordinated manner aligned with project objectives.
- Support the identification of headcount, competency, and timing requirements for engineering, technical, and support personnel needed within the scope of the project, as well as human resource planning.
- Determine periodic requirements for human resources, equipment, infrastructure, and other project resources, contribute to planning efforts, and monitor actualization statuses.
- Ensure the coordination and tracking of procurement, supply, manufacturing, and external service processes that impact the project schedule.
- Monitor internal institutional approval, permit, and authorization processes required within the scope of project activities.
- Plan, set agendas for, and organize project, inter-unit, and management meetings; track decisions made, assigned actions, responsible parties, and deadlines.
- Support the planning, coordination, and tracking of technical and administrative meetings held with internal and external stakeholders within the project scope.
- Ensure the preparation, currency, and regular tracking of documents, meeting minutes, reports, and related correspondence regarding project activities.
- Support the coordination of administrative and operational processes related to project and organizational activities.
- Ensure the preparation of periodic evaluations, activity reports, and decision-support studies required by management.
