Job summary

AJAX SYSTEMS is seeking a Production Engineer to join the Istanbul DESBAS Tuzla plant. In this group leadership role you will supervise all production processes, drive shift teams, and ensure strict adherence to company quality standards to enable sustainable growth.

You will apply RCA, FMEA, Lean, and 5S methods, plan improvements, and work across English and Turkish communications to optimize performance and ensure KPI achievement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2–3 years in production/manufacturing with shop-floor supervision.
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system including nights.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and customer/regulatory requirements.
• Fluent English and Turkish, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, and optimize production efficiency; lead re-equipment projects.
• Operate within a 3-shift framework; drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Apply RCA and FMEA to identify bottlenecks and prevent defects.
• Evaluate equipment for necessity, cost, and environmental safety.
• Monitor processes affecting quality per ISO 9001 and standards.

Job Title: Production Engineer ( Group Leader )

Work Schedule: Full-Time / 3-Shift Rotational System

Location: Istanbul / Tuzla (DESBAS - Free Zone)

Reporting To: Production Manager

We also operate branch offices globally: UAE (Dubai), Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Canada, and many other regions. We are seeking Production Engineers to join our production management team at our manufacturing facility in Istanbul DESBAS (Tuzla). In this key strategic role, you will supervise all production processes, lead the shift teams, and ensure strict compliance with company quality standards to drive long-term business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Control & Automation Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
• Experience: At least 2–3 years of proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment and shop-floor supervision.
• Shift Availability: Willingness and ability to work in a 3-shift system (including night/rotating shifts).
• Continuous Improvement: Proven understanding and application of process improvement tools and methodologies (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Gemba Walks).
• Process Control: Demonstrated experience in process control, monitoring, and regulation across various production stages.
• Quality Standards: Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, customer quality requirements, and statutory/regulatory compliance.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with product technical specifications, manufacturing technology, labor norms, pricing, and review procedures.
• Language Skills: Fluent business proficiency in both English and Turkish (written and oral).
• Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, systems thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning, analyzing, and optimizing production efficiency, as well as driving technical re-equipment projects for production facilities.
• Operating within a 3-shift framework to ensure smooth shop-floor operations, efficiency planning, and execution of cost-reduction initiatives.
• Utilizing Root Cause Analysis and FMEA methodologies to identify production bottlenecks and prevent defect recurrence.
• Evaluating the necessity, economic efficiency, priority, and environmental safety of production equipment and re-tooling projects.
• Managing the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes impacting product quality (ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory standards).
• Providing leadership and facilitating seamless communication across shift teams to achieve department KPIs and annual targets.
