Job summary

Mindpicked is seeking a Production Engineer for a leading global manufacturing company. The role focuses on developing mechanical assembly and production processes for pump and booster systems, with emphasis on process improvements and SAP-based BOMs and recipes.

You will analyze materials, conduct root cause analyses, and report production data via SAP, while collaborating with production, quality and supply chain teams to drive standardization and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering with strong technical grounding.
• Minimum of 5 years in machinery manufacturing or mechanical assembly.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
• Knowledge of SAP PP is an advantage.
• Experience reading and preparing technical projects.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen or continuous improvement projects.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Based on the Asian side of Istanbul, preferably Tuzla area.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical assembly and production processes for pump and booster systems.
• Implement process improvement activities to enhance production efficiency.
• Participate in new product localization projects.
• Analyze materials, prepare BOMs and production recipes in SAP.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement solutions for production issues.
• Monitor and report production data through SAP.
• Coordinate with production, quality and supply chain teams.
• Contribute to standardization and ongoing process improvements on lines.
