AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world's largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.
We are looking for a Production Planning Engineer to join one of the world's largest acrylic fiber manufacturing organizations.
Qualities We Are Looking For;
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Method Engineering, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of work measurement, time studies, and process analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English.
Your main tasks are;
- Conduct work studies and time studies to establish and maintain standard operation times.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform capacity, labor, and machine utilization analyses to identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Analyze production layouts and material flow to optimize operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key operational KPIs, including OEE, cycle time, productivity, and labor efficiency.
- Utilize ERP systems and data analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare performance reports and present improvement opportunities to management.
