Job Description Summary

Process Team Lead – Medium/Small Site. Oversees daily operations within the Manufacturing Unit, ensuring a culture of self‑direction, empowerment, and accountability. Produces and delivers high‑quality products to customers in a compliant, efficient, and cost‑effective manner.

Process Support Unit Lead – Medium/Small Site. Leads the process unit team, coordinating and planning all activities with end‑to‑end manufacturing responsibility (logistics, project work, operational excellence, resources, and budget/costs). Ensures full compliance with quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), customer service, statutory, regulatory, and Sandoz requirements.

Senior Process Expert. Provides front‑line technical and scientific expert support for all process‑specific issues to ensure execution of processes on time, in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and applicable guidelines and functional standards (e.g. HSE, NOSSCE). Enables continuous improvement in quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Manufacturing Systems Lead / Senior Manufacturing Systems Expert. Provides technical expertise for electronic batch records (eBRs), supports MES deployment, implementation and continuous improvement in the Manufacturing Units, and manages the Manufacturing System Experts team. Designs user requirement specifications and electronic batch files, understanding manufacturing/automation/programming/CSV qualification and regulatory manufacturing execution system requirements.

Senior Technical Trainer. Delivers engaging technical training programs (OJT, classroom, virtual classroom), designs and develops training interventions, and leads training audit responses for the site.

Major Accountabilities

• Process Team Lead – Line responsibility and daily walkthrough, ensuring adequate shop‑floor resource planning in correlation with production workload versus planning, reviewing production schedules, and addressing risks, constraints and opportunities.
• Process Support Unit Lead – Translate strategic objectives into detailed objectives and action plans, manage resource and task allocation, and arbitrate task prioritization.
• Senior Process Expert – Act as Subject Matter Expert for product and process, ensure completion of all production operations on time, in compliance with GMP, SSE and 5S rules.
• Manufacturing Systems Lead / Senior Manufacturing Systems Expert – Define user requirement specifications, design and create electronic batch files, maintain quality, costs and deadlines, and manage complex manufacturing execution systems.
• Senior Technical Trainer – Deliver technical training programs using multiple methodologies, design and develop training programs aligned with site strategy, present training strategy, respond to auditor questions, and perform coaching and training qualification activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HSE, GMP, and quality/safety policies.
• Ability to guarantee conformity of manufacturing activities with GMP and HSE rules and Sandoz data integrity standards, CSV, and IGM.
• Experience reporting technical complaints, adverse events, and special case scenarios within 24 hours.
• Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES/SAP/LS) and regulatory requirements across multiple health authorities.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement processes, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, risk management, and process control.
• Strong communication, training, coaching, facilitation, and consulting skills.
• Languages: English (other languages are a plus).
• Certifications in internal auditing and technical system training are desirable.
