Job summary

Sipay is seeking a Product Owner to guide our growing Product team in Istanbul. You will own the payment product backlog, work with a Scrum team from refinement to release, and ensure clear user stories and acceptance criteria across POS, acquiring, and merchant integrations.

You will collaborate with banks, processors and card schemes, driving continuous improvement in payment flows while navigating AI-assisted workflows and modern tooling. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
• Hands-on Scrum, backlog refinement, prioritization and sprint planning experience.
• Experience in fintech/payments/banking or financial services is preferred.
• Understanding of virtual POS, physical POS, acquiring and payment flows.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, QA, operations, risk and compliance teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and ownership skills.
• Good command of English; spoken English required.
• Comfortable in AI-assisted environments with ROVO and related tools; familiar with CLI, MCP and modern AI workflows.

We are looking for a Product Owner for our growing Product team!

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience working with Scrum teams, managing backlogs, refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial services.
• Good understanding of virtual POS, physical POS, acquiring, and payment flows.
• Ability to turn business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Comfortable working closely with engineering, QA, operations, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, and ownership skills.
• Good command of English; proficiency in spoken English is required.
• Comfortable working in an AI-assisted environment, with hands-on experience with ROVO and similar tools and enough technical curiosity to confidently navigate concepts like CLI, MCP and modern AI workflows.

Nice to Have:

• PSPO or a similar Scrum / Product Owner certification.
• Knowledge of Law No. 6493 and Law No. 5464.
• Experience with card schemes such as Visa, Mastercard, and TROY.
• Familiarity with areas such as 3D Secure, settlement, reconciliation, PCI DSS, EMV, ISO 8583, APIs, and payment integrations.

• Work closely with the Scrum team from refinement to release.
• Define clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Take ownership of payment products and flows across POS, acquiring, merchant integrations, and transaction lifecycle.
