Job summary

Moyra is seeking a Product Engineer to grow with us and use AI to make our content feel native and global. This role influences how our apps are perceived across continents, building mobile experiences for iOS and Android.

You will work on end-to-end mobile development, integrate AI workflows, and contribute to architecture modernization while maintaining code quality, performance, and collaboration across teams in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application development (iOS and Android).
• Strong knowledge of clean code, OOP, functional programming and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, LLMs) in daily development workflows.
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs, HTTP(S) and offline-first storage patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and distribution frameworks (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Product Engineer who wants to grow with us and use AI to make our content feel native and natural all around the world. This role is not just about executing tasks; it’s an opportunity to directly influence how our products are perceived by users across different continents.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• End-to-End Mobile Development: Developing iOS and Android applications end-to-end using modern, modular, and performance-oriented architectures.
• AI-Powered Workflows: Leveraging AI tools and LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding, automate routine tasks, optimize algorithms, and improve code quality.
• Architecture & Modernization: Analyzing existing modules, refactoring legacy code, and designing robust architectures for new features.
• Code Quality & Review: Actively participating in code reviews, focusing on code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Bug Fixing & Performance: Running diagnostic tests, memory/CPU profiling, and fixing performance bottlenecks or bugs across both platforms.
• Innovation & In-House Tech: Supporting the development of internal libraries, tools, and best practices to elevate the team's mobile development standards.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development (actively developing for both iOS and Android).
• AI-Assisted Development: Proven ability or strong enthusiasm for integrating AI coding assistants (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, LLMs) into your daily development workflow to boost productivity and problem-solving.
• Software Design: Solid background in clean code principles, OOP, functional programming, and modern architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Version Control & CI/CD: Advanced knowledge of Git workflows, build tools, and distribution frameworks (e.g., Fastlane, Firebase Crashlytics, Bitrise/GitHub Actions).
• Core: Proficiency in Swift (working knowledge of Objective-C is a plus).
• Frameworks & Profiling: Strong understanding of iOS SDK, Memory Management (ARC, memory leaks, zombie objects), concurrency (Swift Concurrency/Async-Await, GCD), and performance profiling using Instruments.
• Core: Strong fluency in Idiomatic Kotlin, modern Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose.
• Ecosystem: Deep understanding of Dependency Injection (Hilt / Koin), Coroutines, Flow, and standard Jetpack libraries.

Networking & Services:

• Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP(S), JSON serialization/deserialization, and offline-first storage patterns.
