Job summary

Ford Otosan is seeking a Powertrain Control Systems Simulation Engineer to develop and maintain MIL/HIL environments for powertrain control units across trucks, engines, and BEV programs. The role emphasizes model development, simulation accuracy, and software verification support.

You will collaborate with software, V&V, system, and calibration teams to ensure simulations reflect vehicle behavior and enable timely verification. Hybrid work is offered in Turkey's R&D context.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape model development is a must.
Solid understanding of control algorithms and discrete-time model development for automotive control systems.
Experience with MIL & HIL simulation environments and software verification.
Familiarity with automotive test and measurement tools like ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, CANalyzer, BUSMASTER.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure and maintain MIL and HIL simulation environments for powertrain control units.
Develop and validate plant models (engine, transmission, thermal, braking, battery, motor, etc.).
Support testing and validation activities on MIL/HIL environments.
