Job summary

Jobtailor in Istanbul's Fatih district seeks a senior BI/ data engineer to design, build and optimize Power BI dashboards and semantic models that drive business decisions. You will develop scalable data pipelines using SQL, Oracle SQL, Alteryx, Python, and Microsoft Power Platform, integrate SAP/JDE/SharePoint/Azure/Databricks data, and champion data quality and governance across stakeholders.

On-site role in Marmara Region, require 7+ years in BI, data engineering or analytics, with strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
7+ years in BI, analytics, or data engineering roles.
Strong Power BI skills including dashboard development, semantic modeling, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization.
Advanced SQL skills with data extraction, transformation, reconciliation, and automation.
Experience with Alteryx and Python for data prep and automation.
Proven experience with enterprise data platforms and governance.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, semantic models, datasets, DAX measures, and Power Query solutions.
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, workflows, and automation using SQL, Oracle SQL, Alteryx, Python, and Power Platform.
Integrate, transform, validate, and manage data from SAP, JDE, Oracle, SharePoint, Azure, Databricks, and Excel datasets.
Build analytics-ready data models and reporting layers for finance, sales, supply chain, and leadership.
Optimize reporting solutions for performance, usability, and reliability.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues and automation errors.
