Job summary

Motlow State Community College is accepting applications for an Adjunct Nursing Faculty (Pool) position (BA9979). This pool position may teach on multiple campuses; candidates must hold a Master’s in Nursing and an active Tennessee RN license.

Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree or a master’s with 18 graduate hours and at least three years of community college teaching. Responsibilities include teaching up to 12 credit hours per semester, developing and delivering courses, and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university and active unencumbered Tennessee RN license.
• Doctoral degree in discipline or a qualifying field preferred, or Master’s with 18 graduate hours and 3 years CC teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and approved course syllabus.
• Teach dual enrollment classes at area high schools as assigned.
• Travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular and programmatic issues.
• Support students and participate in department activities.
• Teach up to 12 credit hours per semester.
