Siemens Energy seeks an Operational Controller to join the Grid Technologies Finance team in a regional role across EU. You will own end-to-end execution for selected Execution Units and act as a trusted finance partner for regional stakeholders, driving operational excellence and analytical insight.

You will support monthly and cycle-based reporting, contribute to KPI forecasting, and help standardize reporting processes using Alteryx, Power BI, and Excel.

Qualificações

• BA/BS/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 5+ years in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Audit.
• Hands-on with Alteryx, Power BI, Excel.
• ERP/finance systems knowledge (SAP/Spiridon).
• Proactive, collaborative, and results-oriented attitude.
• Fluent English; German preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end execution for selected EXUs at EU level and partner with regional stakeholders.
• Drive forecasting accuracy, KPIs, and variance analysis for Sales and regional GT metrics.
• Support standardization, digitalization, and automation of reporting processes (Alteryx, Power BI, Excel).
• Monitor performance with variance analysis and trend tracking.
• Collaborate with EXU stakeholders and regional controlling lead; assist headcount and SG&A planning for GT Sales Europe.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and cycle-based reporting with clear messages.

We are looking for a highly motivated Operational Controller to join the Grid Technologies Finance team.

In this role, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of selected Execution Units (EXUs) at EU level and act as a trusted finance partner for regional stakeholders. The position is designed to combine operational excellence, analytical depth, and growing management exposure, while enabling effective backup within the regional controlling setup.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Transparency and analysis across all regional financial KPIs.
• Drive financial transparency, forecasting accuracy, and insightful analysis for Sales, with end‑to‑end ownership of sales‑driven KPIs such as Order Intake and Sales Margin.
• Contribute to the standardization, digitalization, and automation of reporting processes using tools like Alteryx to improve efficiency, transparency, and data quality.
• Monitor performance through variance analysis, trend tracking, and clear explanation of key deviations.
• Collaborate closely with EXU stakeholders and the regional controlling lead while supporting headcount and SG&A planning for GT Sales Europe.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and cycle‑based reporting activities, including preparation of key messages and management explanations.

What You Bring

• BA/BS/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, with strong knowledge of financial controlling and IFRS.
• Have 5+ years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Audit, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and reporting requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with digitalization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, and Excel, supported by a strong digital mindset.
• Knowledge of ERP and finance systems knowledge, ideally SAP/Spiridon, and demonstrate the ability to think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and drive change.
• Show a proactive, dynamic, results‑oriented, and hands‑on attitude, combined with strong collaboration skills and a team‑player mindset.
• Speak English fluently, preferably with additional German proficiency.
