Job summary

Bosch in Manisa offers a hands-on internship in the Plant Controlling team, enabling exposure to operational and digitalization topics within a large industrial group.

You will support cost tracking, BOM comparisons, CAPEX monitoring, and cost evaluations, while contributing to efficiency and data-driven improvements using Power BI and Excel. A Master’s student with strong Excel, SQL, and Power BI skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s student in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Availability to work at least 4 days per week.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Excel VBA / Macros.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive working style.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take ownership and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Support Plant Controlling activities: standard unit costing, BOM comparison, cost variance analysis.
• Prepare routine cost tracking reports for plant management.
• Assist in monitoring CAPEX, depreciation, and internal project tracking.
• Support Planned Cost of Sales calculations and product cost evaluations.
• Drive efficiency improvements and cost optimization across value streams.
• Lead digitalization initiatives using Power BI and related tools.

Job Description

As part of our Plant Controlling team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment and contribute to both operational and digitalization topics.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Support Plant Controlling activities, including standard unit costing, Bill of Materials (BOM) comparison, and material cost variance analysis.
• Prepare routine cost tracking reports for plant management and department heads.
• Assist in monitoring capital expenditures (CAPEX), investment depreciation, and internal project tracking.
• Support PCOS (Planned Cost of Sales) calculations and related product cost evaluations.
• Contribute to efficiency improvement initiatives and cost optimization projects across value streams.
• Drive continuous improvement and digitalization projects using Power BI, Power Query, and emerging AI-based productivity tools.
• Analyze operational and financial data to support the team in delivering data-driven insights and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s student, preferably studying Industrial Engineering
• Prior internship experience in Plant/Financial Controlling or Production areas is strongly preferred.
• Availability to work at least 4 days per week
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Excel VBA / Macros
• Advanced level of English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and proactive working style
