Job summary

Diageo is seeking a Process Safety Specialist to support on-site implementation of safety standards at the Tarsus / Alasehir sites in Turkey. You will identify hazards, conduct risk assessments and collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to reinforce safety culture.

Lead HAZOP/LOPA studies, manage risk actions, and ensure safe work practices in projects. Strong English, analytical skills and proactive, hands-on attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 4 years of Process Safety, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, or HSE experience in manufacturing.
• Good command of English and strong communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and disciplines.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Basic knowledge of risk assessment methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
• Familiarity with MOC, PSSR, permit-to-work and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs; proactive, hands-on attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of Diageo Process Safety policies on site.
• Ensure hazards are identified and risk assessments conducted.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to strengthen safety culture.
• Lead HAZOP, LOPA and other risk studies; track actions to completion.
• Maintain process safety information and assist in procedures reviews.
• Support MOC, PSSR and safe work practices in small to mid-scale projects.
• Contribute to audit readiness and closure of findings.
