Job summary

Diageo plc is seeking a Process Safety Specialist for the Tarsus/Alasehir site to implement safety standards and drive risk controls. You will work with production, maintenance and engineering to identify hazards, perform risk assessments and ensure safe operations.

You will lead risk studies (HAZOP/LOPA), maintain process safety information, and support MOC, PSSR, and permit-to-work processes, while fostering a proactive safety culture across functions in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Process Safety, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, or HSE.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methods (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
• Knowledge of MOC, PSSR, permit-to-work and safe work practices.
• Ability to read technical documents such as P&IDs.
• Hands-on, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Diageo Process Safety standards on site (Tarsus/Alasehir).
• Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments and apply controls.
• Collaborate with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to strengthen safety culture.
• Lead HAZOP, LOPA and other risk studies with clear actions and follow-up.
• Support MOC, PSSR, permit-to-work and safe work practices.
• Assist audit readiness and closure of findings.
