Job summary

Enigma Corporation is seeking an On-Prem Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our enterprise datacenter environment. You will work with Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, storage, and backup while ensuring security, stability, and high performance of critical applications.

You will participate in an on-call rotation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong scripting in PowerShell and familiarity with security standards are preferred; Turkish and English language

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Windows Server and virtualization administration in data-center environments.
• Strong knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, IIS, and File & Print Services.
• Experience with IBM FlashSystem, Dell PowerStore, NetApp storage, and SAN/NAS.
• PowerShell scripting for automation; on-call rotation capability.
• Turkish and English language proficiency; ISO/NIST/CIS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 in enterprise datacenters.
• Manage AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, IIS, and File & Print Services.
• Maintain Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi environments; manage clusters and vCenter.
• Support SAN/NAS storage; provisioning, replication, performance tuning.
• Provide 3rd-level support for complex infrastructure incidents; participate in on-call rotation.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, configuration baselines, and standards.

Job description

The On-Prem Infrastructure Engineer will support, maintain, and optimize enterprise datacenter infrastructure, including Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, storage, backup, and core infrastructure services. This role is focused on delivering stable, secure, and high-performing on-premises environments that support critical business applications. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation to support timely response and resolution for critical infrastructure incidents.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments in enterprise datacenters.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, PKI, IIS, and File & Print Services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Hyper-V and VMware vSphere/ESXi environments, including clusters, hosts, virtual machines, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion.
• Support SAN/NAS storage platforms, including provisioning, replication, and performance optimization.
• Partner with backup teams on restore validation, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
• Monitor, patch, harden, and tune servers, virtual machines, and storage systems.
• Provide 3rd-level support for complex infrastructure incidents and service-impacting issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, configuration baselines, and operational standards.
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided.
• Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with your direct manager and/or direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments in enterprise or datacenter settings.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI, IIS, and core Windows Server roles.
• 3+ years of virtualization administration experience with Hyper-V and/or VMware vSphere/ESXi in multi-host or multi-cluster environments.
• Experience with enterprise storage such as IBM FlashSystem, Dell PowerStore, NetApp, SAN/NAS, iSCSI, NFS, and SMB.
• Solid understanding of backup/restore, disaster recovery, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• PowerShell scripting experience for automation and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with security hardening and compliance frameworks such as ISO, NIST, or CIS preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical infrastructure needs outside standard business hours, as required.
• VMware, Microsoft, or Hyper-V certifications preferred.
• English and Turkish language proficiency required.
