Job summary

Festo Corporation in Manisa seeks a Non-Production Material Buyer to manage indirect and technical procurement in line with our manufacturing strategy. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract execution for equipment, spare parts, and services.

You will develop supplier relationships to meet quality, cost and delivery targets, and collaborate with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, IT and Facilities to ensure seamless procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of indirect or technical procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in supplier management, sourcing, negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical purchasing activities.
• Proficiency in SAP and SAP Ariba.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in an international manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage indirect and technical procurement aligned with company strategy and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including supplier identification, RFQ management, commercial evaluations, negotiations, contracting, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Support manufacturing operations through the procurement of technical equipment, spare parts, maintenance requirements, industrial services, and production-supporting materials.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, IT, and Facility Management teams.
• Conduct commercial negotiations regarding pricing, lead times, service levels, and contractual terms.
• Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier development, and demand consolidation initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage supply risks to ensure business continuity.
• Support CAPEX and OPEX projects, supplier onboarding activities, supplier assessments, and contract administration processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and ethical sourcing standards.
