Job summary

Nordex Kompozit Kanat Üretim A.Ş. in Türkiye is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to lead the industrialization of blade products and establish standardized manufacturing processes for composite blades.

You will coordinate trials, validate processes, and support roll-out across manufacturing sites, driving safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency throughout the product introduction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrialization or process engineering.
• Proven track record in new product introduction and production process development.
• Hands-on experience in composite manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization of new products from development to production implementation.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize blade manufacturing processes.
• Review specifications and documentation for manufacturability.
• Prepare and maintain process instructions, BOMs, and value stream maps.
• Plan production trials, prototype builds, and validation activities.
• Support new product roll-out across sites and ensure transfer to serial production.
• Identify process improvements to boost safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, quality, production, and project teams through the lifecycle.
• Analyze manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions during ramp-up and production.

Nordex is global leader in wind turbine manufacturing, and we are excited to announce that we are expanding our footprint in Türkiye with a new blade production plant in İzmir, Nordex Kompozit Kanat Üretim A.Ş. in Menemen / İzmir. As we are growing with a new production plant, we are looking for a qualified and experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to be responsible for the following daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrialization of new products from development phase through production implementation.
• Develop, optimize, and standardize manufacturing processes for blade production.
• Review technical specifications, engineering documentation, and product requirements to ensure manufacturability.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process instructions, BOMs, and value stream maps.
• Plan and coordinate production trials, prototype builds, and validation activities.
• Support new product roll-out across manufacturing sites and ensure successful transfer into serial production.
• Identify process improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with design, quality, production, and project teams throughout the product introduction lifecycle.
• Analyze manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions during ramp-up and production phases.
• Provide technical guidance and support to production teams during implementation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience within manufacturing, industrialization, or process engineering environments.
• Proven experience in new product introduction, product industrialization, or production process development.
• Hands-on experience within composite manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, process development, and production optimization.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and value stream mapping methodologies.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
