Mapa Group is seeking an experienced Network Manager for a permanent, on‑site role in Maslak, Istanbul. You will lead the design, deployment, and operation of LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, and data center networks, while guiding the network team and coordinating with security, vendors, and stakeholders.

The role requires hands‑on expertise in modern network technologies, strong leadership, and the ability to deliver reliable, secure connectivity across locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of networking experience with 2+ years in leadership or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, routing, switching, VPN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Hands‑on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, 802.1X, and segmentation.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Huawei or similar tech.
• Familiar with ITIL, ISO 27001, KVKK, and security processes.
• Fluent English preferred; strong communication and crisis management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, operate, and improve LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD‑WAN networks.
• Oversee switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless devices lifecycle and upgrades.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and SLA/KPI metrics.
• Coordinate incident response and escalation during outages and incidents.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate on firewall, IDS/IPS, NAC, VLAN, VPN, and segmentation policies.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage vendor relations, contracts, and network investments.
• Prepare budgets and requirements for capacity expansions and new sites.
• Ensure accurate network inventories and documentation.
• Lead the network team’s work plans and performance reviews.
• Present reports to senior management on performance and security.

We are seeking an experienced Network Manager to join our organization in a permanent, full-time, on-site role based in Maslak, Istanbul. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across all locations and systems.

This role requires strong hands-on experience in network technologies and infrastructure management, as well as proven leadership capabilities in managing technical operations and network teams. The Network Manager will work closely with Information Security teams, internal stakeholders, service providers, and technology vendors to ensure network availability, security, business continuity, and the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, internet, and data center networks,
• Oversee the configuration, backup, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless network devices,
• Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and SLA/KPI metrics,
• Coordinate incident response and escalation teams during critical outages and security incidents,
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes and implement permanent improvements through root cause analysis,
• Collaborate with Information Security teams to implement firewall, IDS/IPS, NAC, VLAN, VPN, and network segmentation policies,
• Develop and test network redundancy, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans,
• Manage technical and contractual processes with ISPs, telecommunications operators, and technology vendors,
• Prepare budget and requirements analyses for network investments, capacity expansions, and new locations,
• Ensure that network inventories, procedures, configurations, and technical documentation are accurate and up to date,
• Manage the network team’s work plans, task allocation, and performance,
• Present network performance, capacity, security, and outage reports to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in networking, preferably including at least 2 years of experience in team management or technical operations management,
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, routing, switching, VPN, and Wi-Fi technologies,
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, 802.1X, and network segmentation,
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, Huawei, or similar networking technologies and products,
• Experience in network monitoring, capacity planning, and root cause analysis,
• Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law), and information security processes,
• Strong team management, problem-solving, communication, and crisis management skills,
• Ability to participate in on-call duties when required,
• Good command of English is preferred,
• CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto, or similar professional certifications are preferred.
