Job summary

Mapa is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to join our Istanbul-Maslak team. You will lead efforts to protect information systems and digital assets, manage cyber risk, and strengthen our security posture.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in cybersecurity, hands-on expertise across network, application, data, and cloud security, and experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR; familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of network, application, data, and cloud security.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS standards.
• Globally recognized certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and sustain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy.
• Establish, update, and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
• Manage security operations including SOC, SIEM, and incident response.
• Identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks with action plans.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure and audit compliance with KVKK and other standards.
• Prepare and present risk reports to senior management.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan and conduct security awareness training.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop, implement, and ensure the sustainability of the organization’s cybersecurity strategy
• Establish, update, and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization
• Manage security operations effectively, including SOC, SIEM, and incident response processes
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate cybersecurity risks by developing and implementing appropriate action plans
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor penetration testing and vulnerability assessment activities
• Ensure and audit compliance with relevant national and international information security standards, including KVKK
• Prepare and present regular reports on risks, threats, and overall security posture to senior management
• Establish effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Plan and execute training and awareness programs to enhance information security awareness across the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity
• Strong technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in network security, application security, data security, and cloud security
• Proven experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR
• Solid understanding of international information security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS
• Preferably holds globally recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with demonstrated leadership capabilities
