Job summary

ZTE Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of IP network projects in Türkiye.

You will manage projects from bidding through contract execution, implementation, customer acceptance, invoicing, and payment collection, coordinating with customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of team management experience in IP projects.
• Experience in project management, engineering management, IP network planning, and turnkey projects preferred.
• Solid knowledge of IP network products and technologies including BNG, MPLS, routers, and switches.
• Proficiency in English and Turkish with strong communication skills.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of IP network projects in Türkiye. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from the bidding and solution development stage through contract execution, implementation, customer acceptance, invoicing, and payment collection.

The role requires a strong combination of project management, engineering, commercial, and customer relationship management skills, along with solid knowledge of IP networking technologies and telecommunications infrastructure, including BNG, MPLS, routers, and switches.

The Project Manager will work closely with customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality, technical, and contractual requirements. The role will also be responsible for proactively managing project risks, ensuring customer satisfaction, protecting project profitability, and identifying opportunities for further business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support IP project bidding activities by preparing professional engineering solutions, project plans, resource requirements, and reasonable engineering cost estimates.
• Support contract negotiations with customers, ensuring that contracts clearly define the project scope, responsibilities, responsibility matrix, pricing, acceptance criteria, invoicing and payment terms, penalties, change management conditions, and other relevant commercial terms.
• Manage contracts and commercial relationships with outsourcing partners, ensuring that critical project risks and responsibilities are transferred appropriately on a back-to-back basis.
• Manage and maintain high levels of customer and partner satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and manage the IP project delivery team, establishing a clear organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, communication channels, and project workflows.
• Manage project risks, issues, and escalations, and ensure that customer complaints and critical issues are addressed and resolved promptly.
• Manage IP projects to ensure:
• Project costs remain within the approved budget;
• Project quality meets the defined design and acceptance standards;
• Project progress and key milestones are delivered according to the agreed project schedule.
• Manage IP projects to achieve defined financial targets, ensuring timely project acceptance, invoicing, and payment collection.
• Drive project profitability improvement and proactively identify new business opportunities arising from existing and potential customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronics, Telecommunications, Project Management, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of team management experience in IP projects.
• Experience in project management, engineering management, IP network planning, and turnkey projects will be strongly preferred.
• Previous project management experience will be strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of IP network products and technologies, including: BNG (Broadband Network Gateway) networks; MPLS networks; Routers and switches.
• Good knowledge of local engineering design, implementation, materials standards, technical specifications, and project acceptance requirements.
• Proficiency in both English and Turkish, with strong communication skills in both languages.
• Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong capabilities in project planning, team leadership, risk management, problem solving, cost control, and commercial management.
