Qualifications

• Degree in education and training development or related field.
• At least three years within the last five in eLearning development.
• Experience communicating with clients and subject matter experts through the design process.
• Hands-on use of current authoring tools to build standards-compliant learning content.
• Experience developing content inside Moodle LMS.
• A portfolio covering at least three eLearning projects, with representative storyboards.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsibilities

• Work with subject matter experts across nations and partner organisations to analyse the learning need.
• Define clear, measurable learning objectives aligned with the course as a whole.
• Design the course structure — modules, lessons, assessments — so the content flows.
• Develop instructional content from source material using storyboard-based design.
• Choose instructional strategies for different learning styles.
• Design pre-, formative and summative assessments to gauge progress.
• Run evaluations measuring course impact and feedback for revisions.
• Provide instructional design assistance and quality assurance to other course providers.
• Prepare, facilitate and evaluate instructor-led activities, virtual and residential.
• Research emerging learning technologies and recommend what to adopt.
