Job summary

Intertek Türkiye Istanbul office is seeking a Microbiology Supervisor to lead the microbiology laboratory and ensure timely, compliant testing across projects.

The role requires graduates in biology with at least 5 years of management experience in microbiology, strong knowledge of international standards, and proficiency in MS Office. You will oversee technical staff and uphold TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduates of university biology programs.
• At least 5 years of management experience in a microbiology department.
• Proficient in international standards related to microbiological analyses.
• Proficient in the preparatory stages of analyses.
• Knowledgeable about method verification studies.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that tasks assigned to the microbiology laboratory are performed and completed correctly within specified time frames
• Determine task priorities, organize work, and direct technical staff
• Ensure information and workflow in daily coordination
• Ensure that tests belonging to the unit are performed in accordance with written procedures, standards, and rules in line with company policy
• Ensure that the technology reliability of the laboratory is maintained in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and the requirements of an active quality management system, and provide the necessary resources.
