Job summary

Philips International seeks an experienced RTR Accounting Controller for the META region. You will own the integrity of financial records across multiple entities, drive close processes, and ensure IFRS compliance while coordinating with global hubs and shared services.

The role requires deep IFRS knowledge, 10+ years in multinational accounting, and proven leadership of distributed teams, audits, and translating complex accounting into business outcomes.

Qualifications

Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) required.
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or business admin.
10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership in a multinational environment.
Strong IFRS knowledge and judgement on complex treatments.
Experience with emerging or high-volatility markets and shared service models.

Responsibilities

Own monthly, quarterly and annual close for the META region.
Review financial statements for IFRS compliance and policy adherence.
Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and clear aged/unsupported items.
Determine accounting treatment for complex transactions in consultation with Technical Accounting.
Coordinate with regional teams, hubs, SSCs and auditors to ensure timely close.
