Mercy Clinic Springfield - Family Medicine Strafford is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to support physicians and staff with patient care activities. You will uphold Mercy’s caring philosophy and provide personable, professional interactions with patients and families.

The role emphasizes clinical assistance, clinic-school training, and collaboration within a team that values respect for life and dignity. This is a standard Monday–Friday schedule in a busy outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• One year of applicable patient care or medical office experience preferred; MA Clinic Academy training required.

Overview:

Assists the physician and office staff with performance of patient care activities consistent with the established standards of nursing practice.

The incumbent in this position shall carry out his or her responsibilities and integrate into his or her work ethic the Mercy Philosophy of caring for the sick and suffering, respect for human life and the dignity of each person, applying Christian values to all crucial human issues in the area over which he or she has responsibility.

In communicating with patients, families, visitors and co-workers, a caring, friendly, personal and professional approach is expected.
