Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, and other building systems equipment.
• Assist with modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs; track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems operate efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and items needed for work orders.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
